    • Savannah Morning News 20 Sep 1998: GUYTON -- Edith Seckinger Pevey, 91, died Sept. 19 at Effingham Extended Care Facility. She was born in Effingham County and was a member of Guyton Christian Church. She was a homemaker. SURVIVORS: three daughters and sons-in-law, Jewell P. and Bill Tebeau of Guyton, Geraldine P. and Bob Reese of Garden City and Jeanette P. and Wallis DeWitt of Auburn; a son, J.P. Pevey of Guyton; a brother, Daniel R. Seckinger of Garden City; a sister-in-law, Alyce Seckinger of Rockville, Md.; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home, Effingham County. FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Monday at Guyton Christian Church, burial in Guyton Cemetery.
