    • Savannah Morning News Issue of 4 Feb 2000: COLUMBIA -- Lurene Pevey Corlette, 87, died Feb. 2 at South Carolina Cancer Center of Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital. She was born in Guyton, Ga., and reared at the Georgia Baptist Children's Homome in Hapeville, Ga. She moved to Bulloch County, Ga., and was a graduate of Stilson High School. She served as a ruling elder of First Presbyterian Church in Darien, Ga., and was chairperson of the Homecoming Celebration for 10 years. She moved to Columbia in 1993 and was active in the community. She was the widow of George Harry Corlette. SURVIVORS: a number of nieces and nephews. VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, Savannah. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Andrews Cemetery, Darien. REMEMBRANCES: First Presbyterian Church of Darien.
