    • Mrs. Thelma Pevey Blackburn, 84, died Jan. 5 at Candler Hospital.

      She was born in Guyton and reared at the Georgia Baptist Children's Home in Hapeville from 1919-1926. She moved to Bulloch County, where she graduated in 1933 from Stilson High School. She attended Draughon's Business College in Savannah. She was the widow of Andrew J. Blackburn Jr., and was a Baptist.

      SURVIVORS: a son, Andrew J. Blackburn III of Savannah; a sister, Lurene P. Corlette of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

      VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.

      GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11 a.m. Friday in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
